Franco Columbu an Italian bodybuilder, powerlifter, author, and actor died on 30th August 2019 at the age of 78. He was hospitalized in his native Sardinia as he was reported ill after he went swimming in the ocean.
He was a two time Mr. Olympia winner in the years 1976 and 1981 and wrote many books on bodybuilding and nutrition. His sudden death has left behind a true friend Arnold Schwarzenegger and his fans with his success story from a shepherd to a two time Mr. Olympia winner.
Thomas says “It was a treat to watch you not just as a bodybuilder but as an actor too.” All that we can do as bodybuilders, is to keep your legacy alive and learn from your journey as much as possible.
